Plants for Low to Medium Light
Just to be clear, low light still means some light. Most plants will not thrive in a truly low light situation.
Low Light Examples:
- near a north facing window with few or no light obstructions
- several feet away from an East, South, or West facing window with few or no obstructions
- a couple feet away from an E, S, or W window that is partially shaded by outdoor trees, buildings, etc, (also called dappled light) or has a screen or sheer curtain (also called filtered light)
The plants on this list will tolerate lower light, so if you're needing some living green loves for your lower light space, look into these or look into getting grow lights!
